Tested it, and it works as promised. Sent my location to my wife, and she saw right where I was. Wait... maybe not the best idea afterall. Anyways it works.

Contacts access would make this much better

WIth Ver 1.0, you need to enter the phone number of the recipient, which is not so bad if you remember the phone number you are sending to. This app would be much better if you could EITHER enter a name, as you do in email or number, or click a link to toggle into the contacts database and pick your recipient(s).

That touches on another minor weakness... You must then enter another number for any second or third person you wish to SMS, while the SMS protocol does allow for sending a group of people a message.

Still, it does what it says it does fairly well.
